Insurance Coverage For Acupuncture In Portland

Insurance – We work with most private and group insurance plans and can accept FSA/HSA cards. Oregon has defined acupuncture as an essential health benefit which means that almost all plans are required to offer benefits.  This includes auto and workers comp insurances as well.  While acupuncture works for more than just pain, most plans focus on pain in their defined benefits. Please check with your insurance about coverage before our visit.

How Our Payment And Insurance Policies Work

Financial Policy

Payment for treatments are due at the time of appointment. We do bill insurance; however, all copays will be due at time of service.
If you are working to pay your deductible, that will also be due at the time of service.
If for some reason insurance does not pay for your treatment, it is your responsibility to pay for said treatment.

Cancelation Policy:

Cascade Mist Acupuncture requires a minimum of 24 hour notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

If appointment is canceled after 24 hours prior to appointment time or missed entirely, patient will be charged the full amount for appointment to the card on file.

Please note that insurance will not pay for missed or late cancelling appointment fees.

Arriving Late to Appointments

If you are running late for your appointment, please call or text me with your estimated time of arrival. I will try my best to accommodate for extenuating circumstances; however, late arrivals will result in a shorter treatment period or may result in needing to reschedule and cancellation fee.
